XXXIII Annual conference of IAFM was held at Raipur. Justice Deepak Verma was the chief guest. He highlighted the need for development of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences. He also awarded the felowship to four members. Journal of IAFM was got released by Editor in Chief Dr. MUkesh Yadav from the chief guest. President Badkur stresed the need for developing Forensic Medicine. Dr. Adarsh Kumar General Secretary read the annual report. General body meeting was held and it was decided to have the next conference at Mangalore.
Workshop on Forensic Odontology under the aegis of Indo Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology was held at Govt. Dental College, Mumbai on Nov. 11-12, 2011 where 215 delegates participated.and learned the intricacies of Forensic odonotology. Congratulations to Dr. Sonali Kadam the organizing Secretary of the workshop.
2nd annual conference of Indo Pacific Academy of Forensic Odontology [INPAFO] was held on May 7-8, 2011 at Santosh Medical college, Ghaziabad. Dr. BR Sharma was the organizing secretary. It was resolved at this conference that all Dental colleges should be encouraged to start MDS in forensic odontology and all forensic medicine departments should have a forensic odontology wing. DCI should be requested to initiate the procedure for starting MDS in Forensic odontology in India..In the General body meeting elections were held for the next term.
